HILL WALKING

The Glen of Aherlow Nature Park is a nearby location for some of the best hill walking and scenery available in Ireland. It contains easily followed walks, the Marl Bog, and a number of picnic sites, with more challenging circuits and trails for the experienced walker/hiker. Read more

Within a short distance of Kilfeacle House Cottages are five beautiful golf courses to suit all types of golfers, so you can enjoy a great day out.

In Tipperary Town, A short distance from our cottages, are cinema, theatre, a leisure centre, library and shopping. Nearest Restaurant is 1 mile away, and nearest Pub 1 mile.

Here in County Tipperary we have many independent food producers offering high quality produce, which can be enjoyed in our lovely pubs and restaurants, or purchased at one of the many local Farmers Markets.

Our major cities of Cork, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny etc. are close enough for day trips by car or train – nearest station 10 minutes drive.

A huge number of Festivals and Events take place throughout the year from film and comedy to arts, music and dance, offering something for everyone.
